Raashan Ahmad's Yusef 12"

Raashan Ahmad (Crown City Rockers) has recently released a brand new album on OM records called, "The Push". But well before that CD actually surfaced this 12" popped up in Japan on the P-Vine label. The 12" single features for songs-two appear on the CD while two others are seemingly exclusive to this vinyl release. The first 12" exclusive, which is outstanding by the way carries production by none other than the Bay Area's own producer/MC Kero One and is entitled, "Here We Go". Here, Kero One delivers the Jazz tunes utilizing a nice simple bassline, muted trumpets, a mellow piano loop, and also sprinkles some fancy Fender Rhodes piano behind Raashan's charismatic vocals. Very nice! Overall a very solid 12" worthy of any serious Hip Hop crate.
