I was a little disappointed by the vocal release of Pete Rock's album, "NY's Finest", so I never posted it here on Vinyl Athletes. Fortunately for those that felt the same way, the instrumentals are now here! It's so refreshing cause now I can listen to the LP all the way through and just enjoy the different styles and sounds constructed by Pete Rock uninterrupted. And it's such a beautiful thing. Also featured on this instrumental LP are two bonus beats, "When I Need It" which is kind of just a loop Pete Rock constructed and plays with minus drums. The second is called "It's So G" which is more up tempo and carries a sort of Northern Soul influence. Highly recommended!
