The Liquid Crystal Project

After releasing the "Liquid Crystal Project" in Japan a few months back we finally see an official double (colored) vinyl release complete with gatefold cover of his-as he calls it "Jazz Hop" LP on Polar Entertainment. The album does feature a lot of mellow Jazz grooves but still carries that signature J Rawls sound incorporating his Jazz influences through samples alongside live instrumentation. "This Is something for the thirty-something cats that yearn for a mature music" J Rawls explains in the liner notes of his LP and goes on to say, "This is for the Hip Hop connoisssuer that can appreciate good Hip Hop merged with a touch of Jazz".
